Distinguished Lecture | Prof. Lin Fanghua from Courant Institute gives a lecture on “Weak Averaging and Strong Analytic Properties of Elliptic Operators”

Prof. Lin is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, a Chair Professor of the Courant Institute of Mathematics at New York University. As one of our honors alumni and a distinguished fellow of the SMS, Prof. Lin has supported the development of the school and was involved in many academic activities for many years. His talk on the April 27th, titled with “Weak Averaging and Strong Analytic Properties of Elliptic Operators” received a large audience and invokes a lot of interest and discussions in topics of stochastic homogenization and cutting-edge analysis tools.
